In this example, A is used for the three L's, X for the O's, etc. Single letters, apostrophes, the length and formation of the words are all hints. In each quote the code letters are different. ------------------------------ To use program: Click "Song" to get a random Song Title from memory. Then click a letter on the top alphabet row then click a letter in the bottom alphababette row. This will change all of the letters in Song Title from whatever you picked as the top letter into whatever you picked as the bottom letter. After you click the top row you can click the bottom row over and over if you like. You don't have to worry about changing a letter into some letter that is already being used... the program automatically corrects by switching them... sometimes even inadvertently correctly positioning the other letter also. ------------------------------- You can also enter your own quote or anything you want then click "Scramble", then let someone else figure out your quote or copy and send in emails for use worldwide ------------------------------ To save anything in this display box... click "save" (number of saves will be shown). When you're done click "print" and show page. ------------------------------ You can find and use the same quote again by entering its number in the small quote number box then clicking anywhere else on the page. To find out how many quotes are in memory... Enter in a large number (999) then click anywhere else and it will revert to last quote. ------------------------------ You can enter a name or any word(s) in this box then click "Search" and it will hopefully find something. "Next" will give more results (if any). You can also use "search" as a way to find out an unknown singleton (letter in quote used only once)... just put in what you think might be the Quoter's name (or word) and search it, if it comes up in the search... you were right. ------------------------------ If you're sure you have a correct letter... You can lock-it-out so it doesn't get accidentally changed, (they're the check boxes underneath the alphabets) ------------------------------ If you have "Special" checked and are using lowercase... it will uppercase whatever letter you choose. (this makes what you've done easy to see) To lowercase an unwanted letter... uncheck "Special" and click the same alphabet letter top and bottom. ------------------------------ "Woof" (when checked) will add a "Wheel of Fortune" type display under quote. "Special" also has to be checked for the Woof letter to show up. If you uncheck "Special" you can turn off the Woof letter using same alpha top and bottom ------------------------------ "Count" will count every letter in the quote then display findings, "Buster" will count then replace frequently used letters with the most frequently used letters in the English language (in order)... e t a o i n s r h l d c u m f p g w y b v k x j q z This order is also used... eairtonslcupmdhgbyfvwkxzqj The larger the quote... the better the odds of getting something actually readable. A lot of times the letters are only one or two places off from correct, so replacement is much easier. You can click "scramble" then "buster" again and get a different result (maybe) because if this were the quote... "nnbbeeffmmzzoo" or this... etaoinsrhldcu etaoinsrhldcu mfpgwybvkxjqz ...what would you have picked as the most frequently used letter? ------------------------------ If you need a hint (tip)... You can enter "The Hindenberg" (using all lowercase and no spaces... i.e. "thehindenberg") by clicking it in the top alpha-row (You might get the alert "That letter isn't being used" but that is irrelevant). The program will then pick one random correct letter and show it. If you put it in again there is a chance it might pick the same letter at random.
