|  New!  ATM, alternative tuning machine
E 55545:  This is the alternative tuning pattern type used by for instance Joni Mitchell... Instead of using the note name for tuning notation, First use the lowest or bass note the guitar is tuned to then use the number of the string that would have been used to tune rest of the guitar to that configuration. For instance EADGBE or standard tuning will give the result E 55545 ...these are the frets on the guitar strings where you would tune it to get that pattern. This also enables you to see the direct relationship between the strings, interesting!
CHORD :  Chord is the variety
min = minor   ,   maj = major   ,   m7 = minor7th   ,   b5 = flat5   ,   5 = no3rd
11th = 1, 5, b7, 9, 11
11xt = 1, b7, 9, 11 --- ( xt means extra, as in extra variation )
m11th = 1, b3, 5, b7, 9, 11
m11xt = 1, b3, 5, b7, 11
13th = 1, 3, 5, b7, 13
half diminished = Ø7 = m7b5
